The Power of Photography book features a photo called “The Only Flowers of Her Youth,” taken by Roman Vishniac in the Warsaw ghetto during World War II, depicting a young girl in a one-room apartment with painted flowers on the wall, a symbol of hope amid despair. Peter's encounter with this photo and its creator inspired him to become a photography dealer and produce powerful museum shows.
